What’s Mainstream?

The cofounder of Nia Debbie Rosas discusses how Nia developed and why it isn’t yet ‘mainstream’. She says:

“Looking back, I’m proud to have influenced such an important movement. Even now I’m committed more than ever to keep on doing what I love: using movement to heal. In many ways, I believe Nia is still as radical an approach as it was in the early days. I’m not exactly sure why it’s not ‘mainstream’ yet, but I do know that at 61 years old, I’ve discovered it’s the only workout that keeps me feeling vital and happy.”
